Compromises versus sacrifices

Compromises versus sacrifices We are aware that when we throw ourselves in the waves of dating world, life is not just cookies and words of love that sweeten even the most bitter coffee. This translates into compromises or sacrifices. Two words that seem to be confused at some times, but translated into concrete actions, that build the daily route of a harmonious relationship or put up a volcanic outburst of frustration that inevitably ends in a break up.

The compromise involves goodwill, agreeing with the other's intimate space, giving up natural to actions, things, habits. Week-ends with family, emails full of "I miss you" on saturday evening in the privacy of your bedroom. The list is long, of course, and substantial, but makes sense depending on the individual. And for each of us these notions of compromise and sacrifice have different signification.

Compromises are natural. Any dating partners include them in the process without disturbing because you want to do them. But the sacrifices leave a bitter taste and even if you try to get rid of the feeling of regret dissatisfaction slowly makes his place.

And often it happens that sacrifices are small things, unimportant things that you feel as though important things that you lost. What are you are willing to give?
